Schools in Belgium The British Primary School is a school for 3 to 11 year olds, established in 1975. We have deliberately remained a small school where each child can play a prominent role and develop confidence to take him or her on into the next stage of education. We have small class sizes, with one adult to eight children in Nursery and a maximum ratio of twenty children to each class teacher in Primary. In addition, we have specialist French, music and library staff. Our approach makes the emotional well being of each child as important to us as high academic standards.
